A clean working or living environment can give you a sense of peace. Take a few minutes to organize your things, throw out what you don’t need, and wipe down your table top. A fresh start with a clear space will help you focus and feel more at ease.

Recent research shows taking a short breaks throughout the day allows us to mentally detach from our work and and re-energizes us for the rest of the day. Next time you check your Facebook during the work day, don’t feel bad, you might actually be helping to boost your productivity.
Don’t get dragged down by negative talk
It’s easy to get emotionally caught up in a friend’s bad day or negative talk around the workplace. A bad mood can be contagious, but we don’t need to let it bring us down.
